Letters in Raby's archives record friendships with members of the Royal family, links with important royal events, struggling royal marriages and personal and political crises.
The session will look at documents signed by monarchs, extravagant seals and beautiful royal deeds, invites for Coronations and records of Royal visits to Raby. This is a special opportunity to view some of the castle’s historic collections rarely seen by the public.
