Terms and Conditions of Purchase

In purchasing tickets for Raby Estates (Raby Castle and High Force Hotel) you enter into an agreement with Raby Estates on these ticket specific terms that incorporate our ‘Terms and Conditions’.

Definitions and Classes of Ticket Holders

For the purpose of ticket sales the following definitions apply;

-        An Adult is a person aged 16 – 59 years (inclusive)

-        A Child is a person aged from 4 years old to 15 years (inclusive)

-        A Concession ticket is for an individual who is aged 60 years or over. A concession ticket is also for an student who holds a valid photographic ID card showing they are a student in full time education.

-        Family Tickets include 2 Adults and 3 Children.

Ticket Collection

Your ticket confirmation will be sent to the email address you have specified in the order process. It is your responsibility to check all information supplied is accurate and correct at the time of purchase. We are only responsible for issuing tickets in accordance with the information you provide.

Raby Estates will not mail out any ticket purchased online.

Returns

ALL tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative date or event.

Raby Members Terms and Conditions

Members can gain free entry to Raby Castle, Deer Park and High Force Hotel during normal daytime opening for 12 months from the date of purchase. The membership does not included entry to special events.

Membership must be shown to gain access to the site. Raby Membership are not transferable to any other person and passes must only be used by the named pass holder. Staff will verify the identity of the pass holder(s) prior to admission.

The pass may not be used for group/educational visits or in conjunction with any other concessions, discounts or for commercial/business use.

The estate reserves the right to refuse admission.

Membership Terms and Conditions

1.     Memberships cannot be used in conjunction with group rates

2.    Memberships cannot be used as part of a school visit

3.     Memberships cannot be used for commercial/business use.

4.     Memberships are not valid for our ticketed special events throughout the year, please check our website details of specific events;

5.     Memberships must be presented on the day of visit, we regret that re-entry cannot be permitted against your proof of payment alone.

6.     Memberships must be signed

7.     If a replacement card is needed, an service charge will apply

8.     Once purchased, memberships cannot be refunded

9.     Memberships must not be re-sold

10.  Memberships cannot be transferred or exchanged

11.  Member have no monetary value

12.  Valid for one year from date of purchase

13.  We reserve the right to alter opening times without notice

14.  We reserve the right to withdraw dates from our advertised opening times without notice

Gift Voucher Terms

1. Vouchers features a unique reference code, which must be quoted at the time of booking and redemption. 

2. Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

3. Bookings are subject to availability and exclusions dates may apply.  

4. Membership Vouchers need to be redeemed onsite before membership begins, please speak to a member of our team.  

5. In order to redeem a Voucher, you must present it to Raby Estates within the Redemption Period. If you do not redeem the Voucher within the Redemption Period, the Voucher expires automatically. It cannot be redeemed anymore, and you are not entitled to any reimbursement or compensation. 

6. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Voucher does not entitle the Voucher Holder to receive the Offering at a specific time. You should book in with Raby Estates at an Early Stage.  

7. Vouchers are redeemable in their entirety only. They may not be redeemed partially or incrementally. If, for whatever reason, you redeem the Voucher for less than the original (un-discounted) value of the Offering, you are not entitled to a credit, cash refund or new Voucher for the difference between the original (un-discounted) value and the redeemed value. 

8. Reservations for Food and Accommodation require pre-booking, 48 hours in advance. Booking can be made by contacting Raby Estates directly.  

9. Bookings are subject to availability and exclusion dates may apply.  

10. By giving Raby Estates your details you accept that Raby Estates will be able to use them for operational purposes, including providing your details to our payment collector, SagePay. 

11. Raby Estates do not take liability for Royal Mail or any other postage service issues including loss and delayed postage.  

12. Vouchers can not be used in conjunction with discounts.
